Our Story

Having grown up working in the building industry with my dad, I learned to build things right. One day I saw a new staircase installed with all its beautiful details and I knew where I should be in the industry. I have always been an artist and the stair trade gave me a chance to build beautiful, functional artwork. It’s a satisfying experience building a functional, beautiful piece of furniture that lasts for a lifetime.

Having started in the 1990’s, I have seen the styles as well as building codes change through the years. The codes have adapted to peoples safety, sizes and styles. Over the past 30 years I've owned and operated three successful stair companies throughout the US. In the 90’s in California and Colorado I had build stairs out of bamboo, pine trees and Birdseye maple. Most of these stairs were curved staircases. 2000-2010 were mostly craftsman with fluting. Things have now changed to contemporary straight lines and floating stairs. Many of my projects are stainless steel cables and horizontal steel balusters with wood posts and railings. We always find out what our customers want and build accordingly.
